Jayne Chandler
Jayne became Managing Partner at hpjv solicitors in 2017 having joined the firm in 1998 as a trainee solicitor. She is also head of the Family department and is a member of the Law Society Family Panel and Advanced Panel.
Jayne assists clients encountering personal difficulties such as divorce, separation and the associated problems relating to relationship break up. She can also offer advice on financial matters following separation. Jayne can advise clients seeking to enter living together agreements (prenuptial), change of name deeds and those wishing to marry abroad.
Jayne has a wealth of experience helping families who have been involved with Social Services, particularly representing clients who have had children removed into Local Authority care.
Jayne regularly supports vulnerable clients, male and female, who have been the victim of domestic abuse, whether due to violent behaviour or harassment, as well as emotional harm. She can advise on seeking an injunction order, where appropriate, as well as on securing Court orders to protect the victim within the family home.
When not at work Jayne has various hobbies and interests, mainly involving her young family. They all enjoy swimming, walking, cycling and general outdoor activities.
